- A free site survey to assess your requirements by one of our experienced engineers, who have vast knowledge of solving security problems and are able to relate this product to your needs. The engineer may feel a more suitable and cost effective product would better suit your project, and would discuss the options available with you.
- We can also advise you on civils/groundworks, provide drawings, and talk through the installation process with you.

Auto Mate Systems Ltd was incorporated in April 1995 and since then we have been in the business of installing automatic car park barriers, automatic sliding and swings gates, turnstiles, traffic light systems, road blockers, rising bollards and all the appropriate forms of access control systems associated with them. In July 2000 we gained the distributionship of RIB Automation Equipment, all of which is rated to ISO 9001. We have the sole rights to distribute RIB automation products within the UK and our installation engineers have completed all the appropriate training courses with them, and are now also qualified trainers of other installers of RIB equipment within the UK. We moved into our new, purpose built premises in May 2007 which moved our head office from Bolton to Accrington in Lancashire. In July 2008 we opened our first satellite branch in St Albans to expand our cover of London and the southern counties of England.
CHAS, Construction line and Construction Skills Certification Scheme
We employ fully experienced installation engineers who are qualified to City & Guilds Electrical Installation and Level 3 Certificate for the 16th Edition of IEE Wiring Regulations. Our civil engineers have undergone rigorous internal training to our demanding high standards, and all engineers are CITB registered and qualified to CSCS gate and barrier installer. All our sales staff have a background in automation and engineering, so they know the products fully and can answer any technical questions from a position of knowledge and with authority. Our project manager is qualified as above and also has NVQ Level 2 in Computer Aided Design. We also have an ongoing programme of Health & Safety training and maintain records accordingly
In 2002, we achieved the Safe Contractor accreditation awarded by the Health & Safety Division of National Britannia. We also successfully achieved the government based CHAS accreditation of Contractors Health & Safety Scheme in January 2007, and Constructionline in March 2007. We continue to renew these annually. We also gained the CSCS Certificate of Commitment – Gold Standard in June 2007.
As a company we strive to meet our customer’s requirements and should you require us to work for you I know that our Project Manager will give you the best service possible. All our installations are CE marked with the appropriate documentation to back it up. The company is now working towards ISO 9001/2008.

Automation Equipment - Service and Repair
In addition to RIB automation equipment we can offer full service and repair facilities for nearly all other automatic security products including FAAC, Came, BFT, BPT Faddini, Nice, Seria, SEA, Newgate, Parking Facilities, Broughton Controls, Tully, just to mention a few.
All new equipment supplied and installed by Auto Mate Systems Ltd, is covered by our comprehensive 12 month guarantee from the date the system is commissioned. As part of our commitment to quality, we are able to offer various levels of service contract once the standard warranty has expired. Further details are available on request.
Car parking barriers, Traffic Barriers.
Auto Mate Systems Ltd have installed traffic barriers and car parking barriers since it started, 14 years ago. Many of the barriers installed in the first year of installation are still working and most of them have never been serviced or had work carried out on them because the equipment is so reliable, they just keep going! All our automatic barriers whether they are car park barriers, traffic barriers, or high security barriers, are all fitted with heavy duty gear boxes and motors giving intensive use, capable of thousands of operations daily. We can supply automatic barriers with boom lengths from 2.5 metres to 12 metres. Auto Mate Systems Ltd is the UK main distributor of RIB automation equipment and therefore we hold a large stock of all RIB barriers and spare parts should they be required.
Automatic Swing Gates

Auto Mate Systems supply and install a wide range of styles and design of automatic swing gates which provide security and convenience without the need to get out of your car in the rain to open your gates. Swing gates give protection against unauthorised intrusion by people and animals that may wander onto your property. They can also keep your children and pets safe whilst playing within your property, preventing them from straying out on to a busy highway. In today’s world automatic swing gates are becoming a necessity rather than a luxury. More and more apartment buildings and houses are constructed as gated communities, which not only protects the property it also protects vehicles, giving total piece of mind . Swing gates can be fabricated in numerous designs from decorative wrought iron, full timber design or industrial bar infill or mesh. These are just a few of the designs we can supply. As the UK’s main RIB Distributor, we hold stock of all RIB swing gate motors and ancillary equipment including spare parts.
Sliding Gates
Automatic sliding gates provides high security from both vehicular and pedestrian intrusion 24 hours a day when operated in conjunction with an access control system, swipe cards, intercoms or radio transmitters. They are also the most common device to secure a site by remote monitored surveillance cameras where the gates can be opened by an individual in a CCTV monitoring station, in another part of the country or world. Sliding gates are inherently secure by design as the sliding gate is like a section of fencing which moves to allow vehicle access through that section of fencing. Auto Mate Systems Ltd, hold stock of RIB sliding gate motors with the power to move gates from 500kg to 6000kg including all ancillary components and spare parts.
Turnstiles
When high levels of pedestrian access control and reporting for fire regulations are required, Auto Mate Systems Ltd can provide a range of turnstiles and software controlled, card access systems which allow improved levels of control and security for pedestrian access. Ideal in unmanned locations, turnstiles provide maximum security together with a safe and secure image, and which may also release security staff for other duties. Auto Mate Systems Ltd manufacture all turnstiles to the highest standards using high quality components and materials giving unrivalled robustness and proven reliability that requires very little on going maintenance for years to come. Auto Mate Systems Ltd also manufacture a range of DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) complia,nt pedestrian gates to compliment the extensive range of turnstiles.
Road Blocker

When serious anti-ram raid equipment is required, such as new vehicle storage facilities, MOD and nuclear sites, bullion or precious metal storage facilities, the rugged and robust road blocker (some people refer to them as a rising curb), may be the product of choice. The road blocker gives spectacular anti-ram ratings, which can stop a lorry at 40mph dead in its tracks. Auto Mate Systems Ltd can manufacture their road blockers for each specific project giving customers the versatility of design depending on each project requirement. The road blocker can have options such as they can lower on power failure, or anti– tailgate systems that would mean if some one attempted to follow an authorised user, the blocker would raise and therefore prevent the vehicle from proceeding. We always recommend that a road blocker be used in conjunction with traffic lights, or some other visual indicator system for safety reasons.

Automatic rising bollards are used in areas where anti-vehicle security systems are required and where pedestrians have free access. They are also used in more prestigious locations where anti-ram raid facilities are required, such as banks or jewellers. They can also used where heavy vehicles use the roadway such as public transport that may affect the condition of a road. It could be detrimental to have the weight of a bus continually rolling on and off a road blocker, whereas, a bollard would sit in the centre of the carriageway and the weight of the vehicle remains on the road way. Auto Mate Systems Ltd, supply a range of automatic rising bollards from attractive anti-ram stainless steel bollards with built in LED indicators, to full ant- terror ram raid rated K12, that would stop a lorry at high speed.

Auto Mate Systems Ltd can help with your traffic management requirements from simple traffic light system design, to integrated security and traffic management installations. As well as supplying individual traffic light components, such as traffic light heads, traffic light controllers, we offer the services of our surveyors who will, from your drawings or design criteria, put together a complete traffic management solution.
