Our engineers recently supplied and fitted a Dual Automatic Barrier System, with access control features, at a premises in Trafford, Manchester.

We installed a dual-barrier system with pogo end supports – this provides a clear opening in the centre of the roadway when the barrier arms lift, rather than the usual fixed end support(s) – with vehicles moving often and at speed, this is a much safer solution to avoid regular damage to both the barrier equipment and the vehicles themselves.

Our automatic barriers provide an effective and long lasting solution to controlling the access of vehicles and securing car parks or areas of your premises.  There are a number of options available for access control on automatic barriers such as; proximity cards, intercoms, radio fobs and digital keypads.  We also installed safety photo cells to further improve the barriers safety mechanisms and to provide a detection system, thus reducing the chance of the barrier lowering on either a vehicle or pedestrian.
